Vita
Bernhard obtained a master's degree in Electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich in 1976. Until then, he worked for about two years as a software engineer at MBB, a German aerospace manufacturer.
In 1977, Bernhard joined a renowned patent attorney firm in Munich and was admitted to the German Patent Bar in 1980 and to the European Institute of Professional Representatives in 1981. He has been working for KSNH, KLUNKER IP's predecessor firm since 1982 and still is a strong pillar of KLUNKER IP.
Bernhard speaks English, French and reasonably Italian. He takes particular interest in literature and jazz music.
Practice
Bernhard has been working on patent prosecution, opposition and nullity cases before the EPO and GPTO since the early 1980ies. In this capacity he has fought many successful battles for clients on all levels of the IP cycle.
His technical expertise particularly comprises design of computers and digital systems, data communication, medical engineering, Image processing, also motorcycle technology and mining technologies.
