The theme was: <em>The IP strategies of the market leaders &#8211; an overview with examples. <\/em>  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A select group of seven participants were able to register for our workshop and the places were filled within a very short time.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were able to win Dr. Christian Reinders as a speaker. He works as Chief IP Counsel Intellectual Property Rights for the DR\u00c4XLMAIER Group. Questions such as &#8220;How do you deal with third-party Patents?&#8221; or &#8220;What are important aspects of a patent strategy?&#8221; were explained in detail and backed up with examples.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Reinders summarizes how to design a successful patent strategy with the following points:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Implement an innovation process from the initial idea to the sale \/ operation \/ recycling of the product, preferably taking Patents into account<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Use and analyze patent data to<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>determine your own position in the patent landscape<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reduce the risk of patent infringement (FTO) and adjust the development goals if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Note the IP Business Models for the relevant market<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Actively develop your own IP business model and thus your own patent strategy<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Dr. Reinders&#8217; presentation was very exciting and informative and not only gave the guests, but also ourselves some food for thought,&#8221; explained Mirko Schade, one of our Patent Attorneys.
