{"id":4071,"date":"2020-09-22T12:44:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T11:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/klunker-ip.com\/swiss-medtech-day-2020-kursaal-bern\/"},"modified":"2025-11-01T14:44:01","modified_gmt":"2025-11-01T13:44:01","slug":"swiss-medtech-day-2020-kursaal-bern","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/klunker-ip.com\/en\/swiss-medtech-day-2020-kursaal-bern\/","title":{"rendered":"Swiss Medtech Day 2020 &#8211; Kursaal Bern"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"\\&quot;has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Well prepared and equipped with the appropriate hygiene concept, industry players, Start-ups, researchers and Investors from the Swiss Medical Technology sector gathered in the Kursaal Bern on Monday, September 21, 2020 to make contacts and experience News and inspiration as part of the annual Swiss Medtech Day.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With four Patent Attorneys and a brand new appearance under <em>Keller Schneider<\/em> following our rebranding, we were able to participate as an exhibitor. &#8220;In these difficult times, it was a great feeling to finally get back into personal contact with clients and partners,&#8221; explains Mirko Schade, one of our partners, who traveled from Munich especially for the event.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A varied program with many interesting keynote speeches, smaller workshops and an exhibitor fair awaited the participants. One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Medtech Award. The lucky winners: two start-ups from western Switzerland that are revolutionizing the treatment of glaucoma with their eyeWatch system.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;As an exhibitor, the event was a complete success for us. We were able to have some very exciting and interesting conversations and find out about the latest innovations on the market,&#8221; says Mirko Schade. Overall, the size of the event, with just under 500 guests and only 50 exhibitors, was perfect for making contact with the right people.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participants were particularly interested in the pitfalls and complexity of Patent Applications in the medical field. &#8220;Especially in the medtech industry, a very sophisticated patent strategy must be developed in order to avoid claim rejections. We have seen this time and again in our discussions at the trade fair.
