Practice
As a physicist, Werner has always been fascinated by innovation and relishes the challenges it brings. He systematically questions what appears to be obvious, thereby managing to achieve results even in difficult cases. Drawing on his 30 years’ experience as a patent attorney before the European Patent Office and the world’s other leading patent offices, he is familiar with the critical issues and steers cases to a successful conclusion.
Werner has particular expertise in design and trade mark law, as well as in licence agreements. He applies his training in negotiation to the out-of-court resolution of disputes. When advising clients, he places great importance on comprehensive IP strategies tailored to the specific situation.
